Here are some pics of Scott at the Santa Cruz fire. He has been there since friday and is tired. But He is enjoying the experience, and is loving learning new things!

Summer Has Begun!

Ryane, Hailee and a bunch of other kids spent the day at the pool today. It was freezing and the weather looked like rain, but the kids didn't seem to care. The pool was heated and they were serving free hotdogs and chips. So we parents sat around and wondered how we managed to do that as kids. Get in the pool when it was so freakin' cold out. All in all it was a good time and a way to pass the time for me as I waited for Scott to return home from the fires.

So Much Stress!

Well this week has proven to be alot more stressful than I care to have endured. Let's see, first Kaden caught Hand Foot and mouth disease from the neighbors kids, Ryane had her first appointment with the orthodontist and that was enough to make my hair fall out. And on top of all that Scott is on stand by to leave with his strike team to help fight the wild fire burning out of control in Santa Cruz mountains. So far it is not contained at all and they are planning on leaving in the middle of the night to head out. I am worried, but have faith that he will be safe. He will be in our prayers. Ryanes first round at the orthodontist is going to cost 3200$. And because ortho stuff is still considered cosmetic, the insurance only covers 1500$ for the entire life span of this crap. So insurance is a joke! So we are just full of great things happening around here. Other than that everything is just hunky doory!
